Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust, Pune celebrates its quasquicentennial (125th) anniversary this year. A grand sacred fire ritual i.e. “Shree Ganesh MahaYajna Ceremony” has been arranged to commemorate this occasion.
The trust has enabled its dear patrons and desirous devotees to perform the rituals of this rare and holy Yajna in the Temple premises during the Ceremony.
Duration of the Maha Yajna Ceremony: July 10th 2017 to August 17th 2017
Venue – Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple, Pune
Timings – 8 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. & 12.30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Donation Amount for the Yajna – Rs. 21,000 only

Instructions for the Hosts of the Homa:
- The host should be present at the venue half an hour before the Homa.
- The holy garment for the Homa shall be provided by the Trust.
- A single person or a couple can perform Homa.
- A fee of Rs. 21,000/- for the Homa can be paid to the Trust and the receipt shall be generated by the Trust.
- 4 Hosts can perform the Homa in Morning and Afternoon Sessions
- This process shall be on a ‘First Come-First Served’ basis.
- The host may not pay any kind of Dakshina to the performing Purohit/Guruji. The Trust has undertaken that duty.
- The hosts shall refrain from using their mobile phones during the Homa.
- The hosts should fast on the day of the Yaaga.
- Men should wear the Holy Garment and Women shall wear Saaree while performing Yaaga.
- The information regarding the Family’s Gotra and Nakshatra should be given while performing the Yaaga.
